TKCMS CHANGES COMPANY NAME TO QIVLIQ, LLC
FAIRFAX, VIRGINA November 20, 2006 TKC Management Services (TKCMS) announced today that it has changed its name to Qivliq, LLC. The company has also adopted a new company identity.
Qivliq provides administrative support services to a group of eight businesses in diverse industries that specialize in managing large federal and commercial contracts. Qivliq has offices in Anchorage, Alaska and Fairfax, Virginia.
The Qivliq family of companies operates a diverse project portfolio including program management, facility operations and support, telecommunications, IT, construction, engineering, project development, and project management.
Qivliq—pronounced KIV-LICK—is an Iñupiaq word meaning “reflection” or “shine.”
The company is 90 percent owned by NANA Development Corporation (NDC), an Alaska Native Corporation representing the Iñupiaq people of the Northwest Arctic in Alaska. The Kuskokwim Corporation (TKC), also an Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) corporation representing 10 villages in the central area of the Kuskokwim Region, owns the remaining 10 percent. Both corporations are headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska.
